I found a journal which talks about China's Status Quo:

^This was not really useful because it talks about China's Status Quo on the International Stage. But I will save it because it looks like I could use it for later

^This journal talked a bit of how the 5000 year history in China has affected and created the status quo status on its citizens today. I will use this in my proposal to support the status quo of citizens and government relationship.
